Scientifically Proven to Reduce Emotional Stress and Increase Brain Function and Creativity
Based on decades of research in neurophysiology and therapeutic use since 1984, Dr. John A. Allocca, a medical research scientist developed and improved a safe and drugless neuroacoustic system that promotes new neural pathways between the left and right hemispheres of the brain for improved brain function, creativity, and stress reduction. The theory is simple. The cerebral cortex of the brain is divided into two parts, the left hemisphere and right hemisphere. Most people primarily use the left hemisphere, while the right hemisphere, which is believed to be the center of creative thought, is not used to its fullest capacity. This imbalance results in little communication between the left and right hemispheres of the brain. If the hemispheres of the brain are utilized separately, they may cope with experiences, especially stressful ones, differently. An internal conflict may be created by different interpretations of the left and right brain hemispheres, potentially resulting in increased anxiety in response to a stressful situation. Without proper communication between the two hemispheres, the conflict may never be resolved and the issue or trauma may become deeply suppressed. If the communications between the left and right sides of the brain are improved, the individual will be able to cope with stressful situations with less internal conflict. Essentially, the brain will function more efficiently and creatively. The NeuroPath system was developed because research demonstrated that the application of specific audio patterns could be used to improve communication between the left and right sides of the brain by stimulating the growth of additional neural pathways between the two hemispheres. The low intensity audio patterns are fed into the left and right sides of the brain through a pair of stereo headphones. With regular use, this interchange of the audio patterns can lead to the production of new neural pathways between the right and left hemispheres of the brain. The “NeuroPath Audio” system is contained on an audio CD. It also includes a guided meditation. Typical EEG Waveform Comparison:
Alpha brainwaves occur at a frequency of 8 to 12 cycles per second (Hertz). They are blocked by excitement or by opening the eyes. Alpha brainwaves occur in relaxed states such as meditation and under hypnosis and indicative of the awaken state in humans. Alpha is associated with a general feeling of well-being and euphoria. Research indicates that at least 20% of the population does not produce alpha brainwaves. People with lower than normal amounts of alpha or no alpha have much more mental stress than other people. The NeuroPath system induces deep relaxation and increases the production of Alpha waves in the left and right sides of the brain.
8 Steps to a Sense of Well-Being The "Stress Reduction Handbook," will guide you through a journey of stress reduction through the use of NeuroPath, NeuroLife, diet, exercise, and meditation.
